Chicken Feet

LA is a great place to be in the dead of winter. Despite the torrential down pour a few weeks back, the weather is mild and agreeable. It lends itself to shorts wearing (if you dont mind looking like a tourist) and sunny walks on the beach.

Also thanks to my A-mazing next door neighbor Silas, I was able to check out the Los Angeles Contemporary Art Fair.

There was a lot of cool stuff and many, many hipsters. I felt weird snapping a bunch of photos, but did ask permission to get a shot of this.

A molar made out milk gallons and staples. It made me feel like I should be doing more arts and crafts. You never know what is going to catch on in the art world.

Also, this is Dimitri (his eyes don't really look like that). He is the chef at the restaurant I work at. I told him I would give him $10 if he rocked a handle bar mustache for a week.

Best $10 I ever spent.

Went to Chinatown for dim sum.

I scored tons of bowls and tea cups for a nominal fee. They are gorgeous but none of the sets match each other. Lexi said that was ok because dishes are for breaking. Good point!

So yes, I don't miss the snow one single bit. Come visit. Its lovely here!
