This place. Is coming like a ghost town.

Its been a busy month, what with the flurry of (temporarily) working two jobs and all of the holiday to do. I had braced myself for a long arduous journey. But aside from the the general bitchiness that this time of year seems to cultivate in people, its actually been a pretty good time!

Jen invited me to her friend Lizzie's house a few weeks before x-mas for some tree trimming. It was lovely and something I haven't done in a few years. She also introduced us to a type of delicious Finnish vodka, which I cant recall the name of ( I wonder why...)

Here is the tree and Lizzie's cute abode

This one is called the Uh Oh Tree. It was comprised of creepy ornament heads.

This is Sister Marcia. The girl who was living in my apartment before me was fostering her and said I should think about adopting her. But, as is the case with many relationships, I couldn't commit. So Jen's friend Penny took her in. Its probably for the best because Penny has another dog to keep her company. Plus they found out that Sister Marcia is totally deaf, so now she has a dog buddy to help her find her way.

This is what the teller at my bank's nails looked like!

She was pretty much bedazzled from head to toe. Her level of commitment was awe inspiring. Utterly fabulous.

Then back to San Diego for Christmas with the family. LJ in her party dress. Baby tippy toes!!

This is the man who taught me to loathe the holidays.

Actually, this photo is pay back for one he took of me earlier where I gave HIM the old FU.

That's better, Papi.

Mom!

I am happy to see that she has finally fazed out the poofed up fanning of her bangs, which was a style she rocked for MANY years.

In case you ever wondered why I am so dramatic.

Here is my brudder and his Soula. Check out the piercey blues on that kid!

Uncle Dave and cousin Brian. Brian gave me my favorite gift of the year. He crocheted me a hat!!

LJ is like "What? More presents please"

This is how my siblings deal with being stuffed from our holiday feast.

Gorgeous!

Oh and here is one more of LJ singing Twinkle Twinkle Little Star. Babies are so cute when they sound drunk.

If you look closely you can see she has a piece of a lime in her hand that she carried around for about 4 hours. The kid likes the sour stuff I tell you.

Happy New Year to everyone. I hope all of your dreams come true! Just please don't call it Twenty-Ten.
