So Philadelphia. A lovely city (and also our nation's first capital). We had a day off and some peeps were headed to the Mutter museum, so I decided to tag along. Unfortunately they do not allow you to take photos inside the building, but take my word for it, it is definitely one of the coolest and creepiest places I have ever been. If you are ever in Philly, have $14, and like to gross yourself out, you should definitely go there. Its totally worth it.
It was Christina's birthday so we took her to lunch and, after spending two hours looking at tumors with hair and teeth growing out of them, naturally we ordered oysters.
This is Lucas. He is our lighting designer. Because of his vocation and its pertinence to my current employment situation, I have no idea what he is talking about most of the time. You can't really tell from this photo, but he is actually quite hilarious.
Being on tour isn't all coke off of hooker's asses. Sometimes its about the beautiful architecture in historic cities.
And awesome views from hotel rooms at the Ritz Carlton. This was what I saw out my window when I woke up on an actual sunny day in Philadelphia. Not bad!

Its great when you have time to explore a new place. And people who tour for a living are the absolute best tour guides. They can always direct you to the tastiest restaurants, coolest bars and weirdest and whackiest places anywhere in the country. Unfortunately the only places I will see in the next 7 cities I visit will be the inside venues. But thats kind of fun too. Onward to DC!!!
